Q: How does one upload files?

A: According to http://www.littlewiki.com/wiki/Help:FAQ one can upload. http://www.littlewiki.com/wiki/Help:Upload Talks about clicking "Upload File" -- I have not seen such a link to click, however. Anyone?

Q: How does one roll back more than one step?
A: In the History view, you can only rollback your own revisions.  This feature allows you to revert an entire update that you made, but it will not let you revert another users changes.  Depending on the article, you may be able to click on the Wiki Text link and and copy the text over the current article.

[danielwimberley] I am the administrator of a new little group on littlewiki. Four questions:
1. I do not seem to be able to see a list of the group's members. And yet, as far as i know 5 people have asked to be members and I have accepted them all! And no, don't tell me to hit the "list members HERE" button because this shows me no list.
2 I have written an initial article for discussion/editing. How do I get the site to send to the members that they can come and see? Or is this not how it works?
3 When anyone changes the "article", how are the members notified that the article has changed? When does this happen? Do I have to do anything?
4 There is a check box on the edit view window of the article, underneath the article which says "can now be seen by everyone" or something similar. Does this mean "everyone in the group" or does it mean "everyone in the world"?

Answers:
1) There are no members in the 'jerseydec' group.  That's why the 'list members' page is not showing any.  Try and add them again using this page and see if you can see them.
2) There is currently no group email feature.  Once an article is created, users can chose to 'watch' the article for updates which will send them an email when changes are made.
3) Each user must chose whether they want to receive notifications for article updates.  They can do this by clicking on the 'watch' link when reading an article.  There is no way to force an email to all users of the group when the article has changed (unless everyone from the group is watching the article.)
4) If the 'Make article viewable by everyone' checkbox is selected, it means that all users (everyone on the Internet) can read (not edit) the article.  By default, all members of the group can read and edit the article.[danielwimberley] Thank you for these answers.

1 I have accepted 2 members and am absolutely sure that I used the right usernames, and your site told me that they were accepted.

And yet they are still not on the "members' list

2 the check box which says "can be viewed by everyone" should be changed to "can be viewed by everyone on the internet" or similar - otherwise it is ambiguous, as my experience showed.

Thanks
[res] I have exactly the same problem, users that I added to my groups don't show up in the members list, the have access though.

An other question I have is how I can change my emailaddress.

Thanks for your work

Answers:

  1. A problem has been resolved that is currently being tested that would cause the users to NOT be displayed in the members list. However, they do get added. The jerseydec group currently contains 5 members (including the admin).
  2. To change your email address,
    1. Click on your username in the upper right corner of the screen. You will see your current email address listed toward the bottom of the screen.
    2. Click on the 'edit' link and scroll down to the email field and enter the new address.Click
    3. Click on the Save Article button.
